The 5 Virtues of Odysseus's Timeless Journey is an illustrated infographic that traces the virtues Homer built into his account of a soldier's ten-year voyage home from Troy. Composed some 3,000 years ago, the Odyssey presents perseverance, loyalty, wisdom, piety, and justice not as ideals, but as qualities Odysseus needed simply to survive.

Each virtue is drawn from a specific scene in the poem: the storm that scatters his fleet, the men he drags back from the island of the lotus eaters rather than let them forget home, the plan that lets him blind the cyclops Polyphemus and escape, the prayers he offers a river god while fighting the sea, and the killing of the suitors who overran his house in his absence. Each scene is illustrated in the red and black style of ancient Greek pottery, alongside a map tracing the full route from Troy to Ithaca.

This infographic is designed for reflection rather than decoration. It works well in studies, classrooms, and libraries, anywhere the classics are read and discussed. The language is direct and measured, treating each virtue as something proven rather than preached, and leaving the reader to draw their own conclusions.
